Co-founders Tanner McCoy and Cassidy Perreault believe in the power of tenacity…or as they like to spell it “Tannassidy”! Thus, the inspiration for Tenacious Pickleball. 

Tannassidy began their pickleball journey casually in 2020 at a local park in Vista, CA, but quickly fell in love with the game and decided to take their training to the next level. 

After spending time developing their competitive skills and integrating pickleball into their daily lives, Tanner and Cassidy decided to share their love for the game with others in their community, initially drilling with other players and giving tips where they could. 

The pair became certified coaches in early 2022 through the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association, and they started teaching at private venues in the area. 

Proving themselves trusted figures and coaches, Tanner and Cassidy were offered Club Pro positions at some of these locales including Cal-a-vie Health Spa and The Havens Country Club. 

They’ve since organized group clinics and tournaments featuring both round-robin and ladder-play formats while continuing their one-on-one lessons. 

Tanner and Cassidy are fully committed to constant improvement of both their coaching prowess and the services they offer. 

Most importantly, they’re pickleball players just like you! They have a modest court at home populated almost daily with older and young family members alike looking for a match. Pickleball brings their family together, and they want it to do the same for you.
